ABOUT Retreats
Each year, Wesley students are invited to participate in a number of retreats and conferences. Here is what we have lined-up for the 2012-2013 school year:Labor Day Retreat (San Diego)
Join us for a weekend of fun and meeting new people. We like to kick-off the year by heading to San Diego to cool down on the beach for a couple of days. We also mix in a little devotional time and meet up with the U of A Wesley group for some fun. We will leave Friday, Aug 31 at 3:30p and return Monday, Sept 3 around 1p.m. We will be staying at Foothills UMC. The cost is only $25! You can register here or pick up a brochure at Tempe First. Relevance Conference (Las Vegas)
Join us for President's Day weekend in Las Vegas for the Relevance X young adult United Methodist conference. Experience life changing worship, speakers, and outreach to the community. Cost is usually around $40 and registration will be available this fall.
Alternative Spring Break
We spend each spring break learning and service in a different part of the US. We have taken trips to New Orleans to help with Katrina relief, helped fix-up a community center in South Los Angeles and last year we attending a seminar on human trafficking, in Washington D.C. We are still planning our next trip so stay tuned for details!
